I want to say a BIG “Thank You” to Divine Care for all the love and support they have given both me and my father.
To give you a brief background, I am not living in South Africa, am an only child and have an 82 year old father who has Alzheimer’s. When I first contacted Divine Care by email between Xmas 2019 and New Year 2020 I was immediately impressed by the almost immediate response from Penny who called me overseas after receiving my email. At that time my dad was going through a difficult situation and being far away I was under a lot of stress to “fix” this and the only option I was being given at that time was to put my dad in a home which I knew he didn’t want. Penny’s call was so reassuring, she understood my concerns and by the time I had hung up I felt a lot better.
Within a day or two the Care Manager, Ven, visited my dad, did an assessment and gave me a written report which gave me an overview of exactly what he was going through and what we needed to do to make his situation better. Shortly after that Ven matched my dad with a nurse, Amanda, who would visit my dad daily.
Amanda has been an absolute angel, she has shown my dad so much care, compassion, patience and love. She has gone way beyond my expectations in the way she takes care of him and he absolutely adores her and he is always asking her to stay longer at the end of the day. Amanda takes amazing care of his physical and emotional needs.
As someone who is living abroad I cannot be more happy and grateful to the team at Divine Care, especially during these Covid times, where I cannot be home as often as I would like. I trust them and their input regarding my dad explicably and I feel confident that my dad is getting the best care in his own home that he can.

Divine Care Nursing Agency
We have retained the use of Carers from Divine Care Nursing Agency for several months during this year. The Carers were of a high calibre, and interactions with the Management team were always professional and prompt.
Of note is the speed at which they were able to give us 18 Carers in a space of about 4 days, under very trying conditions in Lockdown Level 5, to enable us to maintain our operation seamlessly.
We would highly recommend the “Team” from Divine Care Nursing Agency.
